The tandem concept was launched two years ago at the Heinsberg district police authority and has been a popular part of our road accident prevention activities ever since. Teams, consisting of grandma or grandpa with a grandchild, can put their skills to the test on a bike course at these events. They are supported by the road safety advisors from our police department and "Charly" the bear, who has not only won the hearts of the children at previous events.
